Treble Makers Music School Scholarship: Terms and Conditions


1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions apply to applicants of the Treble Makers Music Scholarship Program. By applying for this scholarship, participants agree to abide by the following terms.

2. Age Restrictions To be eligible, the applicant must be between 6 to 17 years old at the time of application. Proof of age may be required.

3. Demonstrable Financial Need a) Applicants must submit proof of financial need through appropriate documentation, such as family income evidence or written confirmation from a qualified individual. b) Failure to provide accurate documentation may result in disqualification.

4. Showcasing Musical Passion a) All submissions, be it essay or video, should be original. Plagiarism in any form will result in immediate disqualification. b) Video submissions must not exceed 3 minutes. Exceeding this limit may impact the evaluation of the application.

5. Residency Requirement Applicants must reside within the Roanoke area. Proof of residency might be requested at any time during the application review.

6. Academic Standing While academics is a secondary criterion, a sound academic record or recommendation can enhance an applicant’s chances of receiving the scholarship. False representation of academic records will result in disqualification.

7. Previous Scholarship Recipients a) Past awardees can reapply. However, their application will be evaluated based on their musical progress since the last award. b) A statement or evidence of progress will be crucial for reapplication.

8. Commitment to the Program Recipients of the scholarship must commit to attending the entirety of the awarded program/course. Withdrawal or irregular attendance without a valid reason may result in termination of the scholarship.

9. Utilization of Funds Scholarship funds are solely for the use of covering Treble Makers Music School course fees. They cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another individual.

10. Periodic Progress Checks Recipients may be subject to periodic progress checks to ensure active participation and consistent performance. Any concerns raised during these checks might lead to further discussions regarding the continuation of the scholarship.

11. Rights of the School The Treble Makers Music School reserves the right to: a) Disqualify any applicant who does not meet the eligibility requirements or fails to abide by these Terms and Conditions. b) Amend, modify, or terminate this scholarship program and its terms without prior notice.

12. Data Protection and Privacy All personal data submitted during the application will be used solely for the purpose of this scholarship program and will be treated with confidentiality.

13. Governing Law These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the Treble Makers Music School operates.
